A PEOPLE FALLING IN LOVE WITH JESUS
We live to minister to the Lord above all else
We believe everything starts in His presence. From that place, we’re changed, equipped, and empowered to love like Jesus.
This is why we do church the way we do it.

When they observed the boldness of Peter and John and realized that they were uneducated and untrained men, they were amazed and recognized that they had been with Jesus.
Our hope is to be recognized a people who have been with Jesus.

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment.39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.
At Bold City, we are committed to these two pursuits, maintaining this order of focus.

BUILDING A RESTING PLACE FOR THE LORD
After eleven plus years of faithful obedience we are building a RESTING PLACE FOR THE LORD where vertical worship can happen. We are changing our perspective, because what if God didn't just call us to this community, but to minister FROM this community? We want to be known not just on the block, but to be known from Heaven.
This is our modern-day David’s Tent, a space defined by continuous offerings of praise, songs and prayers. This is where we want morning, noon, and night worship to happen throughout the week.

1 Lord, remember David
and all his self-denial.2 He swore an oath to the Lord,
he made a vow to the Mighty One of Jacob:
3 “I will not enter my house
or go to my bed,
4 I will allow no sleep to my eyes
or slumber to my eyelids,
5 till I find a place for the Lord,
a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob.”6 We heard it in Ephrathah,
we came upon it in the fields of Jaar:
7 “Let us go to his dwelling place,
let us worship at his footstool, saying, -
16 They brought the Ark of God and set it in the middle of the tent that David had pitched for it. Then they offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before God. 2 After David finished offering the burnt offering and the fellowship offerings, he blessed the people in the Name of Adonai. 3 He then distributed to everyone in Israel—man and woman alike—to each a loaf of bread, a date cake and a raisin cake.
4 He appointed some of the Levites as ministers before the Ark of Adonai, to petition, to thank and to praise Adonai, the God of Israel. 5 Asaph was the chief and second to him were Zechariah, Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-edom and Jehiel. They were to play harps and lyres; Asaph was to sound the cymbals, 6 and the kohanim Benaiah and Jahaziel were to blow trumpets continually before the Ark of the Covenant of God.

16 “‘After this I will return
and rebuild David’s fallen tent.
Its ruins I will rebuild,
and I will restore it,
17 that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord,
even all the Gentiles who bear my name,
says the Lord, who does these things’

these I will bring to my holy mountain
and give them joy in my house of prayer.
Their burnt offerings and sacrifices
will be accepted on my altar;
for my house will be called
a house of prayer for all nations.” -

2 While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”
Ministries
At Bold City, our ministries focus on growing in faith, connecting in community, and serving with love, all beginning in the presence of the Lord. Through discipleship, fellowship, and outreach, we are transformed and empowered to reflect Jesus' love in every aspect of our lives.

11 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds[a] and teachers,[b]12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood,[c] to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, 14 so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. 15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
